It's time to start getting excited for Conky v1.8.0!!! I don't know when it will be ready for release, but I've been playing around with rc1, and its new features, including ARGB support (i.e. no more pseudo-transparency!) and better text manipulation for Cairo. Hope your doing well ! I have a question about conky I just switched ubuntu to KDE and conky isn't playing nice with KDE Conky works fine except for the transparency, screen turns black. Does this look right to you

own_window_type desktop
own_window_argb_visual
own_window_ transparent yes
own_window_hints undecorated,below,sticky,skip_taskbar,skip_pager
double_buffer yes

Any help would be great THANKS...........
